I’ll admit – I never really was a big fan of ribs. I’d go to all the Rib Fests just because all my friends were going, and sometimes I wouldn’t even bother getting any ribs.
But since discovering this recipe, I’ve become a convert. This recipe makes ribs SO simple, SO good and so quick (prep-wise), it’s hard to resist! Plus, ribs were on sale this week, so this rack only cost $11.84.
Easy Baby Back Ribs
- Rack of baby back ribs
- Your favourite BBQ sauce – I use Bull’s Eye Original Bold and love it! They’re sold everywhere, but I get them in a 2-pack at Costco
- Chopped garlic, made easy if you followed my previous post on minced garlic
- PAM or similar
Directions – Prep:
Step 1: Tear off piece of aluminum foil big enough to wrap the ribs around. Spray with PAM.
Step 2: Place ribs face down on the foil, then brush BBQ sauce liberally on the back. Make sure you get the sides too. Flip over, then brush on more BBQ sauce.
Step 3: Sprinkle minced garlic all over the top. Wrap up the ribs in the foil (I use several layers just to prevent leakage), then leave in refrigerator overnight.
Directions – Cooking:
Step 4: Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Place the ribs on a baking sheet (just in case the foil breaks and your sauce gets all over your oven!) and bake for 2 hours.
Step 5: Remove from oven, and preheat your oven’s broiler on high. Open up the foil, then brush on another thick layer of BBQ sauce.
After being in the oven for 2 hours, before the final layer of BBQ sauce was brushed on.
Step 6: Broil for another 15-30 minutes, or until top is nice and browned, then ENJOY!
